The Thistle is seeking a highly skilled Meetings and Events Sales Executive to join our team. As a Meetings and Events Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting the Meeting and Events facilities to prospective clients and will act as the main point of contact for coordinating their events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients to promote the Meeting and Events facilities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for coordinating events, including responding to client inquiries, providing quotes, and managing event logistics.
  • Work closely with the Meetings and Events team to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell Thistle's services to clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Marketing, to promote Thistle's Meeting and Events facilities.

Requirements:

  • Highly Guest Focussed with a passion for great service and a drive for guest satisfaction.
  • Comfortable in a front-line role facing the public.
  • Empathetic and able to build relationships.
  • Multi-skilled with an understanding of both M&E and Group business.
  • An open personality who is relaxed and natural in their interactions.
  • Able to create a positive first impression and be an ambassador for the brand and Thistle.
  • Can demonstrate commercial awareness within the context of their role.
