Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Trauma services team at London North West Healthcare NHS Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in a busy and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the trauma services department, ensuring that high standards of patient care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • To oversee the management of the trauma services team, including staff supervision, performance management, and development
  • To ensure that all aspects of trauma care are delivered to a high standard, meeting the needs of patients and their families
  • To work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or management role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with staff, patients, and stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g., nursing, healthcare management)
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications or experience in leadership or management
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current healthcare policies, procedures, and legislation
