About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of trauma services across our hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage personal workload to meet corporate and personal deadlines
  • Prioritise workload to ensure the delivery of important and urgent tasks
  • Manage staff and delegate tasks to ensure competence
  • Organise staff briefings and meetings as required
  • Support senior management in capacity and demand exercises
  • Facilitate collaborative working between stakeholders
  • Develop a shared vision for the Division and promote a culture of teamwork

Main Duties

  • Identify changes required in the service and implement them
  • Work with a problem-solving approach to identify solutions
  • Produce and deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Analyse outcome measures and activity data
  • Validate and manage Tracking List PTL

Person Specification

  • Existing operational role with exposure to RTT pathways
  • Demonstrable time in an acute setting
  • Ability to demonstrate delivery of complex services under pressure
  • Recent working in an acute service across the NHS or similar

Desirable

  • Leadership experience in an orthopaedic setting
  • Evidence of working in a stressed and pressured environment
