About the Position

This role involves:

  1. Leading the development and implementation of non-surgical management strategies for spinal patients, integrating with local policies and national guidelines.
  2. Managing a significant clinical caseload, utilizing specialist knowledge to support other practitioners on a Trust-wide consultancy basis for complex cases.
  3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care, driven by evidence-based practices.
  4. Conducting research and audits to enhance clinical practices, informing policy decisions and influencing healthcare delivery.
  5. Guiding the strategic direction of spinal services, aligning with organizational objectives and contributing to service redesign efforts.
Person Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a physiotherapist, with a Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in spinal pain management, with evidence of research beyond Master's level, including peer-reviewed publications.
  • Desirable qualifications: PhD or equivalent, leadership certifications.
Remuneration

The estimated salary for this Consultant Physiotherapist role is £100,000-£120,000 annually, considering the significance of the position and the expected outcomes.
