About the PositionThis role involves:
- Leading the development and implementation of non-surgical management strategies for spinal patients, integrating with local policies and national guidelines.
- Managing a significant clinical caseload, utilizing specialist knowledge to support other practitioners on a Trust-wide consultancy basis for complex cases.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care, driven by evidence-based practices.
- Conducting research and audits to enhance clinical practices, informing policy decisions and influencing healthcare delivery.
- Guiding the strategic direction of spinal services, aligning with organizational objectives and contributing to service redesign efforts.
- HCPC registration as a physiotherapist, with a Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in spinal pain management, with evidence of research beyond Master's level, including peer-reviewed publications.
- Desirable qualifications: PhD or equivalent, leadership certifications.
