Activity Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Activity Coordinator to join our team at Methodist Homes. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a programme of activities for our residents, ensuring their social and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a programme of activities for residents, including arts, crafts, games, and other leisure activities.
  • Work with the senior team to identify the social and emotional needs of residents and develop activities to meet these needs.
  • Maintain and promote activities that are enjoyable and stimulating for older people.
  • Design and facilitate group activities that promote social interaction and community engagement.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with older people and planning activities for this age group.
  • Ability to design and deliver activities that meet the social and emotional needs of residents.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the development of the programme.
