About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock and Inventory Coordinator to join our team at ERIKS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for receiving deliveries, allocating stock to the correct shelf or person, and accurately entering data into our customer's computer system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving deliveries and allocating stock to the correct shelf or person
- Accurately entering data into our customer's computer system
- Conducting stock checks and analyzing results to ensure accuracy
- Effective ordering of stock items via our in-house system
- Responding to client enquiries and requests
- Keeping order expediting up to date
- Being the initial and key point of contact for the customer
- Establishing relationships with suppliers and customers
- Receipting deliveries of goods to ensure the correct items were received with the expected standard of quality
- Negotiating prices and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Supporting the Customer Operations Manager in sourcing activities
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Administrative Skills - Confident and able to work with Microsoft packages such as Outlook and Excel
- Knowledge of a similar industry is preferable but not essential
