Healthcare Support Worker

At HFH Healthcare, we provide specialist nurse-led services to adults and children, working in partnership with NHS Continuing Healthcare teams.
We deliver care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable carers for Day shifts within the Leatherhead locality.
12-hour shifts, Days 8am - 8pm are available, and 6 months of previous care experience is preferable, however full training, supervision and support is given to all successful candidates.
Our carer development centre comprises of interview and training rooms, and specialist and fully equipped skills labs for bespoke training to cover a wide range of client-specific needs, including:
- Tracheostomy care
- Invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Airway suctioning
- Cough assist
- Autonomic Dysreflexia
- Oxygen therapy and monitoring
- Bowel management
- Enteral feeding
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- Catheter care
- Complex medication administration
- Behaviours which challenge
- Complex moving and positioning

What HFH offers:
- Hourly pay rates range between £14 – 17.93 p/hr*.
- Typically, our client base requires ongoing care, 24 hours a day, and benefit from the continuity of a small core team of regular care staff.
- Our specialist carers work with one client per shift and do not travel between multiple homes. The average shift is duration 12hrs.
- Where possible we will offer you work to meet your availability and as a guide, the average carer works three shifts (36hrs) per week for us and earns £500 - 555 p/wk*.
- The regular working patterns that our clients require mean this three day a week work pattern equates to an average annual income of between £26,200 - £28,950*.
- We employ all staff directly and manage all aspects of your pay via PAYE, rather than Limited Company or Self-employed status. This removes the need for you employ third party companies or calculate your own tax. PAYE also protects you from breaching IR35 tax regulations.

Requirements:
- You must be over 18 to apply
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Flexibility on travel - some shifts may require you to drive or have access to public transport
- A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
- An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration
