Sales and Events Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales and Events Executive to join our team at Great Fosters Hotel, a Grade 1 listed building in 50 acres of stunning gardens and parkland in Surrey.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively sell Great Fosters Hotel to clients for conferences, banquets, and weddings.
- Handle enquiries and provide exceptional customer service to clients.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Events Manager to achieve sales targets and business growth.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates.
- Manage event coordination, including booking confirmations, room allocations, and catering arrangements.
- Work closely with the operational team to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Conduct regular site visits to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to inform sales strategies and improve performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in sales coordination within a hospitality or events industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional evenings.
