About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability & Quality Advisor to join our team at Black Fox Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with sustainability and environmental standards, driving continuous improvement across various projects, and providing expert advice on sustainability and environmental topics to various departments and site teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to relevant sustainability and environmental criteria, setting and maintaining high standards.
  • Data Management: Monitor, review, and report on resource efficiency and natural environment data.
  • Advisory Role: Provide expert advice on sustainability and environmental topics to various departments and site teams.
  • Policy Adherence: Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and environmental management guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives in environmental and quality performance on specific projects.
  • ISO Awareness: Assist with the implementation of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards, and help track progress towards Net Zero Carbon targets and KPIs.
  • Plan Development: Support the development and implementation of Environmental Management Plans and Site Waste Management Plans.
  • Performance Reporting: Compile and deliver monthly performance reports to clients for individual projects.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure all activities comply with current environmental legislation and best practices.
  • Risk Assessments: Provide guidance on the preparation of environmental risk assessments and method statements.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring, reviewing, and reporting of environmental performance, including carbon data for waste, water, energy, and fuel use.
  • Carbon Data Management: Use the SustainIQ platform to manage and report carbon data for compliance with strategic energy and carbon schemes.
  • Auditing: Conduct internal audits (both site and office-based) monthly and annually.
  • KPI Development: Help develop environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • External Audits: Assist with managing external audits as necessary.
  • Standardization: Ensure consistent quality and environmental standards across the organization.
  • Sustainability Assessments: Guide and assist teams with BREEAM/DREAM/LEED assessments and review evidence for assessor submission.
