About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Innovation Manager to join our team at Queen's University Belfast. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability initiatives and developing innovative solutions to reduce our environmental impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive circular economy strategy to minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement sustainable practices and processes.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for sustainability improvements and develop recommendations for implementation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and industry partners.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics and progress towards goals.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sustainability or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
