About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our team at GreenJobs Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting local clients across a diverse range of sustainability services.

This is an exciting opportunity to dive into projects that include sustainability strategy development and auditing, energy and resource site auditing, and carbon footprint and net-zero action plan development.

You will also engage in waste management and circular economy initiatives, ESG and other sustainability framework reporting, and environmental management and assessment tools.

This role offers a fantastic mix of desk-based work and client-facing responsibilities, ensuring excellent project delivery and top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies for clients
  • Conduct energy and resource site audits
  • Develop carbon footprint and net-zero action plans
  • Engage in waste management and circular economy initiatives
  • Report on ESG and other sustainability frameworks
  • Use environmental management and assessment tools
Requirements
  • Honours or Master's Degree in a relevant field
  • 1-4 years of experience in business, industrial, or consultancy settings
  • Proven track record in delivering environmental and sustainability projects
  • Excellent communication and training/facilitation skills
  • Strong numeracy and data analysis/interpretation abilities
  • Creative thinking and a knack for identifying new business opportunities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional software packages
