Our client is seeking to recruit a **Quality and Compliance Specialist **, you will oversee 3 branches of the organisation. You will work alongside the Finance Director in ensuring the company maintains its ISO 9001 quality certification while continually seeking to improve services. You will work alongside the Managers of other departments throughout the company in ensuring a high quality and delivery of work in all areas of the business and that all departments are compliant with processes and procedures.

You will also work alongside the Directors to ensure the continued progress of the Lexcel quality mark and continued quality within the firm. You will be responsible for coordinating the compliance of GDPR throughout the management team.

**Responsibilities**:
Ensure that all enquires are dealt with on the day of receipt.

Attend to mail, electronic mail and telephone calls daily.

Support managers in identifying training needs.

Support colleagues of all depots, by sharing knowledge and expertise

Contribute to the monthly management meeting providing feedback and information that improves quality and compliance of the business.

Prepare input for the management review and collate management input.

Adhering to the Quality of Work expectations and company procedures

Prepare and complete internal audits for all departments.

Through QWC and feedback, ensure that the internal processes and procedures for all department are being followed.

Monitor the usefulness of forms and procedures, identify any changes to ensure they are up to date and complete Document Change Requests as required.

Monitor non-conformances, complaint’s monthly.

Contribute to programme development for the department - Identify any issues with the system, complete SCR to improve or correct system programming.

To ensure along with the Quality Champion that the company maintains its ISO 9001 accreditation on a yearly basis.

To ensure along with the Company Directors to maintain its Lexcel accreditation on a yearly basis.

Liaises with the external assessment body on all matters related to the external accreditation process.

Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented, and maintained.

Work with the quality consultant to develop plans to continually improve the overall quality system.

Ensure the external quality consultant has developed an external audit program which covers all areas of the business. If any areas of concern identified work with the respective manager to correct and improve procedures.

Collate quality information for the biannual management review.

Report to top management on the performance of the QMS and any need for improvement.

Ensure all new staff are inducted with an introduction to the quality management system.

Updating ISO documentation and maintaining the document Change Register

Maintaining a Schedule of companies Insurances, reviewing and updating policies due for renewal to ensure adequate cover is always in place. (Offices, Management Liability, PII, Landlords etc)

Contributing to the companies compliance to FCA regulations

Developing Training material and delivering training where appropriate

To carry out the role of Data Protection Officer within the businesses.

To respond to any Access Requests to the businesses

Review and manage any potential data breaches ensuring full records are kept in compliance with Data Protection.

To adhere to the current regulation reference data protection.

Providing annual data protection training and training when required to new employees with the companies.

Attend project meetings.

Updating Finance Director on progress as required

**Essential Criteria**:
Experience of working in a customer focused environment with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and show empathy for a customer’s situation.

Demonstrable experience in the motivation and development of staff with the ability to train and supervise colleagues.

Ability to demonstrate good relationships with stakeholders.

Excellent Communication Skills in English (interpersonal, listening, written and oral)

The ability to work as part of team and make a positive contribution.

Ability to take accountability and work on own initiative without supervision.

Ability to demonstrate a problem-solving approach and make decisions on how to deal with situations.

Demonstrable commitment to confidentiality

A flexible approach to work to meet the needs of the business and the role.

Excellent IT Skills with proven experience in Microsoft Packages

Excellent administration skills

A friendly, positive, enthusiastic, and professional character

Demonstrable commitment to goals, objectives, and vision of the organisation

**Desirable**:
Degree qualification

Experience in Quality Management or ISO Quality Management systems.
