Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
Biopax Limited is seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our packaging solutions and maintaining our commitment to quality, product safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Compliance Manager in maintaining the company's Quality Management System and site standards.
Conduct visual inspections and perform functional quality checks at all stages of production.
Maintain accurate records of inspection results, log non-conformities, and quarantine product as applicable.
Assist in the preparation, maintenance, and review of production documentation, quality-related documentation, issue logs, and SOPs.
Support the Compliance Manager with supplier and customer approvals.
Compile and maintain detailed product specifications.
Assist the Compliance Manager and other departments within the company to investigate and identify root cause analysis/corrective actions for customer, supplier, and internal issues.

Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years proven experience within a similar role within the FMCG industry is preferable, however not essential, as training can be provided.
Knowledge of the BRCGS packaging materials Standard would be advantageous.
Educational qualifications: Minimum GCSE Level (A-C) or Equivalent (Maths & English).
HACCP qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
Trained internal auditor would be advantageous but not essential.
