Capstone Property Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Senior Design Director to lead our luxury interior design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the creative output of our design team, ensuring that all work is delivered to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership:
- Lead the stylistic direction of projects, producing and overseeing the production of impeccable design presentations.
- Develop and implement design strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
- Team Management:
- Inspire and drive project teams, supporting the studio's workload ebbs and flows.
- Develop the design team in line with studio standards and requirements.
- Bespoke Design:
- Extensive experience in bespoke luxury furniture and joinery design.
- Ability to create innovative designs, produce tender drawings, and review shop drawings.
- Lead the team in executing bespoke designs and ensuring quality control.
- Sales & External Relationships:
- Lead pitches with the Directors to drive the design vision of the studio.
- Secure repeat clients and new sales through industry networking and market intelligence.
- Advocate for The Studio's work and champion the brand.
- Ownership:
- Responsible for the creative output of projects with a strong understanding of project delivery.
- Reliability:
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering outstanding luxury interior design projects within a dynamic environment.
- Communication:
- Lead UHNWI client relationships and project presentations.
- Support Directors with new business enquiries.
- Management:
- Understand the team's capabilities and strengths, ensuring project deadlines are met through structured project reviews.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure all design presentations, site installations, FF&E items, and dressing are executed to the highest standard.
- Problem Solving:
- Identify risk factors early and employ a solutions-based approach rooted in good judgment.
