About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager to join our client, a leading organisation based in Cambridge. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the management of IT assets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance, managing asset inventories, usage and disposal, and maximising value while optimising total cost of ownership.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies for the effective management of IT assets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage asset support and maintenance contracts, ensuring optimal renewal terms.
- Lead the development of asset management policies, procedures, and processes.
- Strengthen vendor relationships and negotiate better deals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT asset management.
