Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Product Strategy Manager to lead our product strategy, development, and lifecycle management of packaging solutions at Agfa-Gevaert.

About the Role:

  • Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Manage the Packaging Product Portfolio Strategy:
  • Create a product roadmap based on market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specifications, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
Lead End-to-End Product Development:
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from concept through to commercialization.
  • Work closely with R&D, engineering, and design teams to create innovative packaging products.
Market & Competitive Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape in the packaging industry.
  • Analyze data to refine product positioning, features, and messaging.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Act as the liaison between various departments to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Provide input to marketing teams for the development of promotional materials and product launch campaigns.
Sustainability & Innovation:
  • Identify and integrate sustainable packaging solutions to align with Agfa's sustainability goals.
  • Drive the implementation of eco-friendly materials and innovative technologies that reduce the environmental impact of packaging products.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA) is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in packaging, printing, or related industries.
    • Proven experience in managing the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of sustainability practices within the packaging industry is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to think strategically while also being detail-oriented.
