Job Summary:

The Product Manager for Sustainable Packaging role at Agfa-Gevaert is responsible for developing and implementing sustainable packaging solutions. This individual will manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities.

About the Position:

  • Annual Salary: €80,000 - €100,000
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and Manage the Packaging Product Portfolio Strategy:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a product roadmap based on market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Work closely with R&D, engineering, and design teams to create innovative packaging products.
Manage the Full Product Lifecycle:
  • Oversee the development, testing, and launch of new packaging products.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure product availability and promote successful launches.
Market & Competitive Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape in the packaging industry.
  • Analyze data to refine product positioning, features, and messaging.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA) is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in packaging, printing, or related industries.
    • Proven experience in managing the full product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge of sustainability practices within the packaging industry is a plus.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
