Job Role: Business Development Manager

Metalis Engineering Recruitment Limited is working in partnership with a pipe supplier in Wakefield who due to continuous growth are looking to hire a skilled Business Development Manager on a permanent contract. The core responsibility of this position will be to acquire and develop new and existing customer prospect opportunities for the company to meet annual revenue and growth targets. This will range from small service works supporting client needs to help maintain relationships with shareholders. At this higher end, this will consist of projects of £2.5 to £3 million being targeted.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building relationships with new and existing customers via regular face-to-face visits and communication
• Monitor and analyse business from existing customers, markets, and competitors
• Identify new markets and business opportunities
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets
• Educate customers on our full product offering/services and how they can support their business needs
• Continued management of existing customer relationships
• Contribution to, and implementation of, the company growth strategy
• Promotion of our products / systems, and services throughout the UK
