Job Overview

Ampian HR is currently seeking a skilled Human Resources Recruitment Advisor to join our team in Erdington, Birmingham. This full-time, permanent role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • Maintain all HR systems ensuring data and records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Report data and create complex Excel spreadsheets using Macros, V-Look Ups, and combining multiple cells of data.
  • Develop job descriptions and person specifications for various roles within the company.
  • Prepare job adverts, check application forms, shortlist and sift CVs, interview and select candidates for vacant positions.
  • Produce and issue offer letters and employee contracts to successful applicants.
  • Liaise with Hiring Managers for vacancies in Head Office and Stores, ensuring smooth communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Introduce new employees to the company and guide them through the induction process.
  • E nsure all new starter paperwork is completed and relevant information provided to Payroll on time.
Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous experience working within a HR environment.
  • Familiarity with the full recruitment and selection cycle.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Macros, complex formulas, V-Look Ups, and combining multiple cells of data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads effectively.
