Gambit Search is seeking a talented Banking Credit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our credit risk team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of financial statements, bank memos, and management accounts to assess corporate risks.

The ideal candidate will possess ACA qualification or equivalent and have 1-2 years of experience in audit, transactions, M&A, or restructuring. You will also need to build strong relationships with key brokers and clients to secure long-term business partnerships and future opportunities.

About the Company:

We have partnered with an Insurtech business in their search for an Associate to work in their credit risk team. Our client is aiming to bridge the gap between lenders and the insurance ecosystem.

About the Job:

As a Banking Credit Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in assessing corporate risks and determining the viability of loan deals. You will report directly into one of our Partners to help grow their single situation book: an individual enquiry on one specific borrower.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, bank memos, and management accounts to assess corporate risks
  • Build strong relationships with key brokers and clients to secure long-term business partnerships and future opportunities

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ACA qualified or equivalent
  • NQ and up to 1-2 years post-qualified experience from audit, transactions, M&A, restructuring
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, keen attention to detail, and a passion for finance

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum
