Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve attendance for children with a social worker
- Work closely with the Virtual School, schools, social care, and families to identify and address attendance issues
- Provide support and guidance to Education Welfare Officers and Social Workers to advocate and enable children with a social worker to improve attendance at school
- Evaluate data, identify trends, and support both the Virtual School and Education Welfare Service to target training, support, and consultations to impact improved attendance for children with a Social Worker
We are looking for an experienced Education Welfare Officer/Social Worker who is passionate about improving attendance for children with a social worker. You will have a strong understanding of the complexities surrounding attendance and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
