**Job Title:** Quality Assurance Director

About Us: VickerStock is a leading Electrical Switchgear and Control Panel manufacturer with a strong presence in the UK, Ireland, and globally.

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director to lead our quality management system and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee the maintenance, implementation, and improvement of our ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 certified Quality Management System.
  • To ensure the QMS is fully integrated into daily business operations and consistently followed by all departments.
  • To lead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and preparing for successful re-certifications.
  • To manage the identification, investigation, and resolution of non-conformances, developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address non-conformances and prevent their recurrence.
  • To maintain a detailed log of non-conformances, tracking progress, and ensuring timely closure.
  • To drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in quality within a manufacturing environment where you are personally responsible for the QMS systems (ISO 9001) and/or have set up these systems for a firm prior.
  • Proven track record of managing non-conformances and leading successful corrective action processes.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and industry standards such as IEC, UL, and NEC.
