Quality Assurance Director

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Director to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe in Dungannon, Northern Ireland.
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum
About the RoleThe Quality Assurance Director will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our products, working closely with the technical and operations teams to drive standards and customer expectations forward.
Responsibilities- To design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve HACCP-based Quality Management Systems, ensuring due diligence using industry best practice, customer best practice, BRC, third-party/legislative requirements/recommendations.
- To coordinate and manage HACCP teams and activities, supporting the NPD function to aid successful new product/process development.
- To monitor factory cleaning and housekeeping and hygiene standards through first-hand auditing on the factory floor and analysis of audit reports, developing action strategies as a result of repeated/trending non-conformances.
- Experience as a QA manager in the food industry, managing and delivering KPI improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively lead a team and delegate instructions as and when required.
- Self-motivated individual who can work well under constant pressure and achieve consistently high results.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft programs, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
