About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school on the borders of Solihull. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with special educational needs to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to children with special needs, helping them to overcome challenges and reach their goals.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility, to ensure the well-being and safety of our students.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social skills and emotional well-being.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a care setting (does not have to be in children's services).
  • Preferred: Driving Licence.
  • Desirable: DBS Update Service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
