About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Health Visitor to join our team at Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust. As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and their families in our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in regular team meetings to ensure all staff are informed of clinical and locality issues, facilitating the management of change and ensuring service continuity.

• Arrange the induction and orientation of new staff, instructing them in new procedures and policy changes.

• Support and supervise skill mix staff to enable effective delivery of the service.

• Contribute to training, education, PDR, and orientation programmes for staff, students, and others as required.

• Describe any staff development activities you either develop or deliver, including training courses, organisational development work, practice development, or facilitation.

• Undertake practice supervisor and practice assessor roles with both pre-registration and specialist practice students.

• Demonstrate responsible use of resources, with an awareness of budgetary restraints.
