Regional Development Lead

Children North East is a leading children's charity in the North East region, working to ensure all babies, children, and young people are happy, healthy, and valued.

We are seeking a Regional Development Lead to support our Operational Development Director in driving forward our current work and developing new strategies to meet our ambitions.

The successful candidate will take a lead in developing our internal voice offer, supporting the development and implementation of our training offer, and working alongside our Operations Development Director to research new areas of work.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing regional development strategies
  • Supporting the Operational Development Director in driving forward our current work
  • Developing and delivering training packages to organisations
  • Conducting research on potential new areas of work
  • Working with the Policy team to influence and drive forward our policy and campaign work
