Regional Development Lead

Children North East is a leading children's charity in the North East region, working to ensure all babies, children, and young people are happy, healthy, and valued.

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Development Lead to support our Operational Development Director in driving forward our current work and developing new strategies to meet our ambitions.

The successful candidate will take a lead in developing our internal voice offer, supporting the development and implementation of our training offer, and working alongside the Operational Development Director to conduct research on potential new areas of work.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing regional development strategies to drive forward our current work and meet our ambitions
  • Supporting the development and implementation of our training offer across the North East region
  • Working alongside the Operational Development Director to conduct research on potential new areas of work
  • Driving forward our current work across the North East region with support from the Operations Director and Operational Development Director
  • Working alongside the Operations Development Director and the Policy team to influence and drive forward our policy and campaign work
