About the Role

Children North East is a leading children's charity in the North East region, working to ensure that all babies, children, and young people are happy, healthy, and valued.

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Development Lead to support our Operational Development Director in driving forward our current work and developing new strategies to meet our ambitions.

The successful candidate will take a lead in developing our internal voice offer, supporting the development and implementation of our training offer, and working alongside our Operations Development Director to conduct research on potential new areas of work.

This is a key role in developing current, new, and future services, and ensuring the income, safety, and quality of our services are delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our internal voice offer to babies, children, young people, and families
  • Support the development and implementation of our training offer across the North East region
  • Conduct research on potential new areas of work with the Operations Development Director
  • Drive forward our current work across the North East region
  • Work alongside the Operations Development Director and Policy team to influence and drive forward our policy and campaign work
