Heavy Vehicle Technician

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team in Swindon. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services to keep our customers' vehicles on the road.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will be based in our modern workshop facility and will have access to manufacturer training and our in-house training hub.
The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 qualification in LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance, as well as a current and full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes. You should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

As a Heavy Vehicle Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on LCVs, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and communicating with customers and colleagues effectively.
- Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Level 3 qualification in LCV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification).
- Current and full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience working in a workshop environment.
- A positive attitude and flexibility with workloads.
