Heavy Goods Vehicle Technician

Rubber Duck Cars is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team. As an HGV Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance on HGVs to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on HGVs.
- Component Fabrication: Fabricate and weld components as needed.
- Assembly and Disassembly: Assemble and disassemble parts with precision.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Operational Safety: Operate power tools and forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, welding, soldering, and power tools.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations.
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to assemble, maintain, and repair HGVs effectively.
- Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Electrical Systems: Knowledge of electrical systems in vehicles is advantageous.
- Forklift Operation: Forklift operation experience is a plus.
