Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Care Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic care environment, providing high-quality care to residents with dementia.

As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for driving and running the unit, alongside clinical duties. This includes observation, medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for ensuring policies and standards meet our high clinical standard
  • Accountable for making sure the care team is following best practice
  • Forge a real connection with residents and their families, providing kindness and support
  • Taking responsibility for the well-being of residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
  • Coaching and guiding the team, providing formal and informal teaching programs
  • Carrying out assessments and developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans

Preferred skills and experience include:

  • Ability to lead a team of care staff
  • Passionate about delivering great care and supporting residents and their families
  • A team player who engages well with others
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards

We offer a competitive salary up to £21.74 per hour DOE and the annual salary is up to £54,263.04 per annum. Benefits include:
