School Nursing Role Overview

Nurse Seekers is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Nurse to join our team in Stratford-upon-Avon. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in improving the health and wellbeing of children and reducing health inequalities for School-aged children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver services and undertake assessments and interventions to support the health and wellbeing of children
  • Assess risk and contribute to the safeguarding of children
  • Work collaboratively with schools and the community to promote healthy lifestyles and reduce health inequalities

Requirements

  • NMC PIN
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCHPN) Qualification - preferred
  • Passion for providing the best possible care and improving the health and wellbeing of children
  • School or community experience, but not essential
  • Caseload management responsibility preferable
