Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Medical Secretary at our Glasgow Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to join our administration team and contribute to the delivery of our high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities
  • Support to Medical Staff: Provide administrative support to our medical teams, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Excellent Customer Service: Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring excellent communication and customer service.
  • Prioritisation and Time Management: Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Secretary or in a related role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support to medical teams.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Qualifications: Essential qualifications include a good understanding of medical terminology and confidentiality principles.
