Job Overview

Vistry Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled Transport Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Bardon, Leicestershire. As a key member of our Logistics department, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and evaluating logistics operations to ensure the efficient delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, and transportation companies to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Plan and manage logistics operations to meet customer demands and company objectives.
  • Develop and implement best practices in logistics to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics team to ensure effective communication and coordination of logistics activities.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics operations management, transportation planning, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
