Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced paramedic to join our team as a Paramedic Practitioner in Primary Care.

About Us

Winchester Rural South Primary Care Network is a collaborative partnership of four GP practices working together to deliver personalized healthcare services to rural communities in North and Mid Hampshire.

Our vision is to provide accessible, compassionate, and high-quality care to our patients, and we are looking for talented professionals like you to help us achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and triage patients, including same-day triage, and provide definitive treatment or make necessary referrals to other members of the primary care team.
  • Advise patients on general healthcare and promote self-management where appropriate.
  • Support the delivery of anticipatory care plans and lead certain community services, such as monitoring blood pressure and diabetes risk of patients living in sheltered housing.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. A UK driving license and experience working in a primary or urgent care setting are also essential.
