Conference and Events Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Conference and Events Coordinator to join our Meeting and Events sales team at The Met Hotel, Leeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and exceeding our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling incoming Conference and Event enquiries from initial enquiry to post event follow up.
- Conducting show rounds and tours for prospective clients, showcasing and selling our beautiful hotel and meeting spaces.
- Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and ensure they have the best possible experience in the run up to their event.
- Using a keen eye for detail to ensure all event details are translated to the system and handed over to the Operations Team ensuring the smooth running of the event.
- Exceeding customers' expectations and being motivated to continually develop service levels.
- Answering any questions, via email and phone, to ensure that all queries are dealt within an efficient and effective manner.
- Obtaining client feedback and making appropriate changes for improvements.
- Driving sales activities through strategic planning and client engagement.
