Job Title: Finance Manager - Management Accounts

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our Management Accounts team at Liberty Global. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading teams, workstreams, and projects across various group and external Opco brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accounting processes across the organization, prepare journal entries, and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvement.
  • Support and influence decision-making across the organization by working closely with internal stakeholders and delivering accurate reporting and analysis.
  • Implement an effective internal control framework, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to standardize and automate processes, ensuring work is performed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or Qualified Accountant with a strong background in Management Accounts.
  • Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) and a degree of post-qualified experience.
  • Coaching and development of less experienced finance and accounting colleagues.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Experience working within large complex corporate structures, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering to deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills and financial systems skills (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).
