We're seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our team at Liberty Global Shared Services Limited in Bradford.

This is a hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

Please note that this role is specifically for individuals with additional European languages, particularly French, German, or Dutch.

As part of our continued growth and expansion, we're looking for Senior Finance Managers with European language skills to lead teams, workstreams, and projects across various group and external OpCo brands in the UK and Europe.

As a Senior Finance Manager, you'll report to a Management Accounts or Financial Accounts Divisional Director, supporting and working closely with our teams in Bradford and across the wider business to deliver accurate reporting and analysis to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Financial Control, Group Financial Planning and Analysis, Commercial Finance, External Auditors, and Accounting Operations team management.
  • Developing and delivering financial accounting activity, including debt, interest, derivatives, and share-based compensation.
  • Preparing comprehensive financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other statutory requirements.
  • Managing, developing, and mentoring a team of qualified accountants.
  • Liaising with the business to understand changes and strategy, and taking ownership to amend processes for accurate and timely accounting.
  • Reviewing and presenting divisional reporting packs for internal stakeholders, meeting required deadlines, and providing ad hoc reporting as needed.

We're looking for individuals with:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, Senior Financial Accountant, or similar.
  • A professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) with considerable PQE.
  • Fluency in additional European languages, including French, German, or Dutch.
  • Team leadership experience of Finance Managers and/or qualified accountants.
  • Experience working within large complex corporate structures, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering to deadlines.
  • Strong Excel and financial systems skills (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The willingness to occasionally travel overseas to build relationships with colleagues in various OpCos.
