About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our team at Liberty Global. As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of Finance Managers, delivering below-the-operating-profit-line activities, and preparing accurate monthly and quarterly results in line with group accounting policy and Internal Control/SOX requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Finance Managers
  • Deliver below-the-operating-profit-line activities, including debt, interest, derivatives, restructuring, and share-based compensation
  • Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly results in line with group accounting policy and Internal Control/SOX requirements
  • Conduct month-end balance sheet analysis and reporting
  • Ensure balance sheet governance, integrity, and assurance
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager or similar Senior Accountant role
  • Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA; ACCA; CIMA etc) with considerable PQE
  • Team leadership of Finance Managers
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
  • Experience of working within large complex corporate structures, whilst managing key stakeholder relationships and delivering to deadlines
  • Strong excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Financial systems skills (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion/HFM)
