Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Income and Costing teams to identify cost improvement opportunities and implement mechanisms to report activity information.
  • Contribute to the analysis and interpretation of complex data and information to inform financial decisions.
  • Develop and maintain good professional working relationships with staff from a wide variety of disciplines and backgrounds.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on financial matters to senior management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Post-qualification experience of financial management within a healthcare environment.
  • Ability to work autonomously within an agreed framework and take responsibility for the work of a team of support staff.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to explain complex financial and non-financial concepts to a range of audiences.
  • Advanced analytical skills and complex problem-solving ability.
  • High level of numeracy and computer skills, including the ability to create, manipulate, and present highly complex information within Excel.
