We are seeking a skilled Research Assistant to join our team at the Oxford Thermofluids Institute.

Your primary responsibility will be designing and simulating novel nuclear reactor concepts using advanced CAD software.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in engineering and experience working with CAD programs like SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD.

You will also need to demonstrate expertise in computational fluid dynamics and design for manufacture techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and simulate novel nuclear reactors using CAD software.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry-leading CAD tools.
  • Collaborate with researchers to achieve project goals.

Compensation:

  • Estimated salary range: £45,000 - £60,000 per year.
  • Fixed-term contract for six months.
