About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Research Assistant to join our team at the Oxford Thermofluids Institute, focusing on designing and simulating novel nuclear reactors. This role involves significant computer-based design and simulation using CAD programs like SOLIDWORKS/AutoCAD.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and simulate innovative reactor concepts
  • Apply computational fluid dynamics techniques

Requirements:

  • PhD/DPhil in Engineering with expertise in thermofluids simulation and experimentation
  • Nearly complete doctoral program

Salary Information: The annual salary range is £45,000 - £55,000, commensurate with experience.
