Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team at Service Service Employment Agency Limited. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of our Service Desk, responding to calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prioritize and log calls, assessing urgency and assigning issues to the relevant department or person for resolution.
  • Follow up with external clients to ensure their issues are being addressed and provide regular updates on resolution status.
  • Administer and support our backup solution, including offsite retention.
  • Maintain and support all hardware and third-party software in accordance with agreements.
  • Participate in the support team for exceptional or urgent out-of-hours work.
  • Ensure the security of our systems and data is always maintained.

Requirements:

  • A keen interest in IT and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • A self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to promoting best practice and supporting procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • A team player with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £21,000 to £24,500 per annum, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

This is an office-based role with a standard working week of Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm.
