Lead Delivery Manager

Currys plc is seeking a highly skilled Lead Delivery Manager to join our Technology team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering high-value, complex initiatives across all areas of technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the delivery of multiple technology initiatives, ranging from £3-7m, across different domains and platforms.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with business stakeholders, understand their requirements, and ensure that initiatives deliver value and meet their expectations.
- Define and implement the delivery strategy, approach, and plan, and ensure that initiatives follow best practices and standards.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communication, and risks, and proactively resolve any issues or conflicts that arise.
- Coordinate and collaborate with delivery teams, third parties, and other delivery managers, and ensure that dependencies, interdependencies, and integration points are identified and managed.
- Drive the adoption of agile and lean methodologies, tools, and techniques, and foster a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement within the delivery teams and the wider technology function.
- 5+ years experience and proven track record of delivering complex and high-value technology initiatives across different domains and common enterprise-scale technology platforms.
- Experience of delivery in large complex organisations, such as FTSE 250 companies or top-tier professional services.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the technology landscape, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, and ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Knowledge of programme organisation structures and proven ability to build teams who are set up for success.
