Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team and take responsibility for implementing purchasing plans within the framework of our BLI development project.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with our project team to ensure the successful delivery of our project and contribute to our company's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with Project Managers and Stream Leaders in purchasing activities (Capex & Opex)
- Being involved in commercial bid tabulations, contract negotiations and contract finalisation
- Ensuring the proper implementation of the Sourcing Request tool
- Implementing routines with the project team to anticipate future actions
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Business or General Engineering with specialisation in purchasing
- Strong experience in purchases of industrial equipment, engineering contracts, work contracts and indirect services
- Experience in procurement and interfaces between procurement and purchasing
- Experience in contract negotiation (equipment, engineering services)
Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum depending on experience.
