Senior Residential Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dynamic team in Newton-Le-Willows. In this pivotal role, you will not only be responsible for the well-being of our children and young people but also serve as a mentor and role model for new team members, offering them the support and guidance they need to thrive in their positions.

Role Overview
  • Provide emotional support and foster meaningful relationships with the children and young people in our care.
  • Establish clear boundaries and routines, creating a nurturing environment that they can genuinely consider their home.
  • Empower our children and young people to build confidence and self-esteem, helping them realise their potential and fostering a positive outlook.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Take an active interest in each child and young person's individual needs and aspirations.
  2. Encourage and facilitate their development, helping them discover and pursue their interests.
Requirements
  • An understanding of Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted procedures and legislation.
  • Able to lead a team on shift.
Benefits
  • £35,000 - £40,000 per annum salary (dependent on experience).
  • 30 days annual leave allowance (including 8 bank holidays).
