Catering and Service Excellence

We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead our kitchen and service teams in delivering exceptional food experiences for students and staff. As a key member of our Chartwells team, you will be responsible for overseeing all catering operations, including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare delicious food to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.
  2. Supervise culinary and catering teams, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations.
  3. Oversee efficiency of all in-unit catering operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
  4. Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets, driving business growth and excellence.
  5. Represent Compass Group UK&I, maintaining a positive brand image and promoting our values.

About You:
  1. You have a minimum of two years of catering experience, preferably in a similar role.
  2. You possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and lead teams.
  3. You hold relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2.
  4. You demonstrate brilliant financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

Our Offer:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Chartwells team as a Catering Manager, working in partnership with Compass Group UK&I. We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement.
