Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor shift and work activities to ensure seamless operations.
- Accountable for producing accurate and detailed handling reports as required, meeting high standards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement cost control measures on labor and equipment, demonstrating foresight to plan ahead for team members.
- Manage staff effectively, utilizing available resources to maximize productivity across warehouse, ramp, and office facilities.
- Monitor and address sickness on a shift-to-shift basis, conducting interviews and adhering to disciplinary procedures.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety, training, and quality standards, ensuring adherence to statutory, regulatory, and company policy requirements.
- Establish and maintain excellent communication with all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure smooth operation of Reception and monitor site security in line with CAA and Company requirements.
Requirements
- High School diploma or higher.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience within the industry.
- Thorough working knowledge of cargo, warehouse, and ramp processes.
- Effective leadership, organizational, and communication skills, consistent with a busy 24/7 cargo operation.
- Excellent knowledge of the operation office function.
- Good working knowledge of PC systems and Microsoft Office.
- Customer focus and quality awareness with high standards of quality and service level goals.
- Strong resource management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in inclement weather.
