About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Manager (Property) to join our team at The National Trust. As a key member of our Fundraising department, you will be responsible for leading our property fundraising efforts, working closely with our Growing Support Consultants and operational teams to drive results and achieve our fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on property fundraising across the Trust, working with Growing Support Consultants to influence operational teams on key priorities such as 2nd Hand Bookshops, Legacy Promotion, Pin Badges, and Contactless Giving.
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to drive growth and revenue, staying informed on market trends and innovation to ensure our on-property efforts are current, balanced, and compliant.
  • Collaborate with marketing, data, and finance teams to simplify complex information for the Growing Support community and operational teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across the organization.
  • Play a key role in various working groups, serving as the link between the Growing Support Consultants and the wider Fundraising teams, and overseeing all Growing Support (Fundraising) training.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding and experience of regionally based fundraising, the National Trust, and its unique position amongst charities.
  • Experience in leading and delivering against targets, with a proven track record of driving growth and revenue.
  • Insightful, creative, and an inspiring leader, with the ability to influence performance and drive results.
  • Strategically focused, with the ability to plan and manage large-scale budgets and influence projects and fundraising income streams.
