About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team at a specialist school in Southend. The successful candidate will work closely with students with severe learning difficulties and complex needs, providing individualized support to enhance engagement, interaction, and attainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students in small groups or one-to-one basis to improve engagement and interaction
  • Develop and implement strategies to raise attainment and meet individual needs
  • Work closely with parents to ensure consistency between school and home
  • Build strong relationships and rapport with students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

No prior school experience is required, but a willingness to learn and develop skills is essential. Graduates, support workers, healthcare assistants, youth workers, or individuals with personal experience are encouraged to apply.
